The data for this task was taken from DOAJ. The process and the results are described in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.craft-oa.eu\/ddh-verifying-journals\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.craft-oa.eu\/ddh-verifying-journals\/\">blog post<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The DDH editors can continue verifying DOAJ journals that have not yet been verified, or unverified journals from other aggregators that can be imported into the DDH later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The DDH editors can choose journals from a list to verify, create a verification assignment, and edit the journal metadata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the DDH editors can assign unverified journals to themselves for a verification task, there is a filter \u201cDiamond status\u201d that helps to distinguish unverified journals from the verified ones. The editors can also use the \u201cAssigned\u201d filter to keep track of their tasks.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"630\" height=\"200\" src=\"https:\/\/ddh.edch.eu\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-10.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-339\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ddh.edch.eu\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-10.png 630w, https:\/\/ddh.edch.eu\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-10-300x95.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 630px) 100vw, 630px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>DDH editors collectively represent a special type of the trusted source within the DDH system. They \u201cown\u201d journals that that they verified for the DDH.
